My Approach to Healing
I believe I am here to help guide others who are ready to begin their journey towards healing themselves. Many of us seeking healing have experienced a loss of connection and rootedness to ourselves and our the world we live in. I have come to understand that traditional talk therapy primarily seeks to overwork our cognitive processes in order to heal – often forgetting to incorporate other parts of ourselves that are essential to our wellbeing. Our work together will focus on helping you get in touch with your most authentic self while helping you find a sense of rootedness and connection to your lived experience.
In the last few years, we have been called to begin a deep reflection on ourselves and our mental health. As a collective, I believe many of us have started to push back on toxic cultural norms that have deeply affected our wellbeing, and many of us have come to a place where we are “doing life” in a way that feels empty or meaningless. Maybe you are ready to take the next step and work on feeling WHOLE and CONNECTED to/in this world.
Beginning Your Healing Journey
Therapy can be a wonderful opportunity to begin your journey for wholeness and healing. Maybe you have been living with fear that keeps you feeling stuck and powerless, or maybe you have difficulty with allowing yourself to rest and enjoy your present experience. Most people reach out to me because they are tired of being a passenger in their own life and need to find their strength and power to walk the path of their choosing.
